Robin Attfield, MA (Oxon), PhD (Wales) has been Professor of Philosophy at Cardiff University since 1992

Robin Attfield read Greats at Christ Church and theology at Regent's Park College, Oxford. He is a member of the Council of the Royal Institute of Philosophy; a co-opted member of the Executive Committee of the British Philosophical Association; Chair of the Cardiff Branch of the and a member of the Unesco working party on environmental ethics. His publications include Environmental Ethics: An Overview for the Twenty-First Century (Polity-Blackwell, 2003) and Creation, Evolution and Meaning (Ashgate, 2006).
