What is esquivalience?

"the willful avoidance of one's official responsibilities"

New Oxford American Dictionary.

Nope, it's a ghost word.

Dear vandals:

Why vandalize Wikipedia? It won't last more than 30 seconds thanks to the combined forces of ClueBot NG, Huggle, STiki, Huggle, Lupin's Anti-Vandal tool, recent changes patrol, rollbackers, administrators, pending changes reviewers, the edit filter, and vandal fighters. It's also pointless because you won't gain anything from it.

So let me introduce a better solution. It's called: Contribute! Millions of people go here to get information on topics, and even if they aren't allowed to cite Wikipedia, they use the references as a starting point. By contributing to Wikipedia, you contribute to the largest encyclopedia ever written! So be bold, and start editing (constructively)!

A reminder to vandal fighters

You don't use {{uw-vandalism}} for a good faith edit.

You also don't use {{uw-vandalism}} for every policy broken. For example, if you see someone reverting an editor blanking warnings (which is against policy), don't use {{uw-vandalism}} because it's not vandalism! In that case, just leave a message on the user page telling that reverting blanking of user warnings is against policy, instead of linking them to Wikipedia:Vandalism. If you use {{uw-vandalism}} inappropriately, like in the above situation, you should really enroll in the Counter-Vandalism Unit Academy before even touching the undo or rollback function.

Think the mundane sans-serif font is boring?

Then shamelessly copy the contents of my vector.css settings, and enjoy Wikipedia sans mundane. Instead, enjoy a stylish and sleek Wikipedia. Thanks to Google Fonts, there is no installation required. Copy, paste, and enjoy!

"But Wikipedia is inaccurate!"

Well, Eric S. Raymond proves that wrong (most of the time):

"given enough eyeballs, all bugs errors are shallow"

Linus's Law, 1999, modified to fit Wikipedia.

Instead of complaining, why not contribute? Create an account today and use your two eyeballs to help Wikipedia in its mission to empower people with knowledge! Every constructive contribution helps! Just don't vandalize, and be bold!

Article classification

How I determine the quality of an article. The current "A-B-C" system is too vague, so I had to come up with a different system.
