Obaika Racing became the first African-owned NASCAR team in 2015. The team fields the #97 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for Josh Reaume, with crew chief Dan Stillman. Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, the team would be making its NASCAR debut, competing full-time in the 2015 Xfinity Series. The team is owned by Nigerian Entrepreneur, Victor Obaika.[1]
