The Budget

I Don't Believe for a Minute MGM had a 3 million dollar budget for Bells Are Ringing in the 50's. I don't know of any movies in the '50's which went over 1 million unless it was a Cecil B. DeMille extravaganza. The reference note (1) cannot be confirmed - if I were the IRS then I would want to see MGM's books to see if they were padding them. Come on! 3 Million bucks for actors of questionable draw? Something doesn't add up. 184.76.56.97 (talk)JSJR 02262015
