Lev Goldentouch, PhD. is an Israeli mnemonist, polymath and entrepreneur working in the fields of Algorithms, Machine Learning and Intellectual Property. He is also a Speed reading expert and a Memory trainer[1]. He is the creator of KeyToStudy, a scientific platform for increased reading speed and retention abilities[2].

Personal life

Lev was born in the Ukraine and his original surname was Goldentayer but he later moved to Israel and changed his surname to Goldentouch in 2005[citation needed]. He completed first a BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) in Electronics in 1996 and went on to obtain a PhD. from Tel Aviv University in 2005[3]. He was 27 years old at the time[4]

Author and Inventor

Lev has authored a number of statistical articles[5] and holds several patents on computer vision and machine learning [6]. He has also authored a book of Hebrew poetry with his wife Anna [7].

KeyToStudy and Superlearning

Understanding of similarity of machine learning and human learning allowed Lev to learn immense amounts of knowledge in many technological and cognitive subjects. Immediately afterwards Lev opened a consulting company, which offers its services to highly skilled individuals, agile startups and technological giants like Samsung.[8]

This lifelong fascination with Intelligence, Creativity, Learning and Life hacking led Lev Goldentouch to create KeyToStudy[9], a learning and teaching methodology that allows its practitioners to increase their reading speed by upto 100% while still retaining 80% of the data read (in best-case scenarios). As claimed on the best selling Udemy course designed using Goldentouch's systemic approach to learning[10], KeyToStudy is created after taking into account the actual cognitive and neurological factors that make learning easier and more successful. It is a combination of memory strategies and reading techniques that result in increased reading speed and retention.
