Music Fest Perugia is a festival held since 2007 in Perugia, Italy for young talented musicians every year in the summer.
Formation
The festival was founded by Ilana Vered and Enrique Graf in 2005 in Monte Castello di Vibio, Italy hosting 8 students in it's first year. In 2007 the festival moved to the city of Perugia and has since grown, currently hosting 150 students, 57 proffesors and 2 orchestras.[1]
General Information
Many students from all over the world get the opportunity to play with an orchestra as well as participate in lessons, master classes, play in marathon recitals and in chamber music events, listening to the masters playing in a special recital and producing an opera.
The aim of the festival is to nurture young artists and give them the opportunity to play with an orchestra teaching them how to make music come alive.
