Larry R. Marshall is an Australian venture capitalist and physicist. He is chief executive of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.[1] Marshall has a PhD in physics from Macquarie University and his areas of specialization include diode-pumped solid-state lasers[2] and laser stabilization.[3] He is the inventor of 20 US patents.[4]
