Jessi (Korean제시; born December 17, 1988), also known as Jessica H.O. is a South Korean–American rapper and member of the hip-hop trio Lucky J under YMC Entertainment. She was born in New York, raised in New Jersey, and moved to Korea at the age of 15.[1]

In 2005, Jessi released her first single album Get Up. In 2006, she was featured in the album Testimony by Uptown. In 2009, Jessi released her second single album The Rebirth. In 2014, after a 5-year hiatus, she returned as a member of Lucky J with rapper J’Kyun and vocalist J-Yo.[2] That year, Lucky J released the digital single "Can You Hear Me?".

In 2015, Jessi was part of the variety show Unpretty Rapstar, a spin-off of the program Show Me The Money. Unpretty Rapstar is a female rappers survival program. The show consists of a single-elimination competition through rap performances.[3][better source needed]

In 2015, Jessi also featured in JYP's “Who’s Your Mama?" music video[4], and was a guest on various South Korean variety shows such as Running Man and Happy Together.
