Yamaha DX100 is a 100cc, Aircooled, 2 stroke commuter motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha Motor Company from 1970s to early 1980s.

It has a 4 speed gearbox utilizing an all-up configuration with a toe-hill shifter. The engine produces approximately 8hp with in a narrow Rpm band. The bike is equipped with front and rear drum brakes. Electrics are 6 volt and 2 stroke oil is injected to cylinder through Auto-Lube.

Top speed with a single rider is approximately 90 km/h. Although good for city commuting, the bike lacks power and speed to keep up with free-way speeds.

Yamaha DX100 is very closely related to more popular Yamaha YB100 with slightly different graphics and fuel tank shape, however both are mechanically same.

Yamaha DX100 was aimed against competitors such as Suzuki A100 and Suzuki A80.
