Article Name Format
I've noticed that the article is titled "Punchline." One word. I could point to any number of sources (news articles, listings on official streaming sites [1], Sentai Filmworks recent license announcement [2], and even the Japanese poster in the article itself) that refer to the series as "Punch Line." Two Words. It's a pretty minor formatting thing, but unless there's some reason it being one word I would suggest it be changed to two words, as that's the way the series is referred to by the English licensors. Dialects
I will be restoring my edits regarding the dialects spoken by the characters. Any one with any knowledge of prominent Japanese dialects will be able to discern immediately that two characters speak in Kansai-ben and Tsugaru-ben upon watching the first episode. Short of actually listing the times in the episodes where dialogue conducted in said topolects is said, I see no need for references. As for relevance, I refer to many other pages that state non-standard dialects spoken by characters, such as Coppelion, when such information would have had no effect on the plot. - The dialects are original research and incredibly trivial at that. —Farix (t | c) 11:03, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- The contributors to the Japanese version of the page evidently did not think so. From ja:パンチライン アニメ, "独り言や動揺した際には津軽弁が出てしまうことがある。" ( She ends up speaking in the Tsugaru dialect when she is alone) & "関西弁で話す。" (Speaks in the Kansai dialect) are used to describe the two characters as wellHeilige Krieger (talk) 12:08, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- This is the English Wikipedia and we have a policy on this very thing. It doesn't matter what goes on over at the Japanese Wikipedia or what their policies are. —Farix (t | c) 21:41, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
