Reggae Rajahs are a reggae and bass music sound system crew based out of New Delhi, India[1]. Most notably known for being the first ever Jamaican style soundsystem in and from India[2], as well making India relevant in the International Reggae Community. Also notable is the fact that they introduced Caribbean slang and vocabulary to audiences all over India[3], as well as the nomination for the "Best International Band / Group " award at the British Reggae Industry Awards that they recieved.[4]
Reggae Rajahs have built up a notable fan base in Poland by working with the Polish Institute in New Delhi who facilitated their collaboration with Polish acts such as Marika, Dreadsquad and other big polish artists. Their popularity in Poland increased when they visited in August 2013 playing at Ostroda Reggae Festival. [5]
