Thanks for the welcome. I think Wikipedia is a wonderful resource -at its very worst, it's still a good starting point for looking up a subject (provided the article hasn't been momentarily reduced to VINCE SUX COX) - and I'm sure I could learn the ropes and do well, being well/widely-read, having writing skills and a meticulous nature to bring to bear when I want to; but the editor culture of the site, with all respect, makes it all too much work and frustration for no more changes than I care enough to suggest. Editors need to spend a long time working very hard and well to build up cred to have a better chance of having their edits treated with respect, not auto-reverted, as happened years ago to me on an IP edit. I'm fairly comfortable with making Talk Page suggestions, hoping a registered and established editor will see and react, and avoiding any editing myself. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
