Information icon Hello, Arcaid. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Richard Bryant (photographer), you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 14:43, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Arcaid", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 01:43, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding non-encyclopaedic content and formatting errors to this article. As you have a conflict of interest, you should engage in discussion on the article's talk page about changes you want to make, rather than simply adding content that does not meet wikipedia's guidelines on being neutral and reliably sourced. If possible, you should also familiarise yourself with wikipedia's required style and formatting. Thank you, Melcous (talk) 01:43, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. It does not seem that you have read the articles suggested. For example, you keep introducing references which include incorrectly placed punctuation and spacing. More importantly, you have included information from blogs and personal websites which are not considered reliable sources for the purposes of wikipedia. Also, please note that while changing your username was a good thing to do, this does not change the fact that you have a conflict of interest with this article and therefore should be extremely careful about editing it again. Wikipedia works by consensus and collaboration, so please try to listen to what other editors are saying, and engage in discussion here or on the article's talk page. If you continue to add the same content without engaging in discussion, you may find yourself in danger of being blocked from editing the article. Thank you, Melcous (talk) 14:46, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
