Ghulam Murtaza Bhutto (1862 – 1940) was the father of Bhutto Shah, grandfather of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and great-grandfather of Benazir Bhutto and Murtaza Bhutto. He was the son of Ilahi Bux Khan Bhutto. He had a son Shah Nawaz Bhutto who later became politician. Shah Nawaz Bhutto Married in 1926 and had three sons Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (1928 – 79), Sikandar Bhutto, Imdad Ali Bhutto and two daughters Munawar Sahiba Bhutto and Mumtaz Sahiba Bhutto. Thus, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto also married and had 2 sons Shahnawaz Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto and 2 daughters Benazir Bhutto, Sanam Bhutto. He survived long cough in which doctors said he had tuberculosis. He died in 1940
