Sofia (Sonya) Kenin (born November 14, 1998 in Moscow, Russia) is an American junior tennis player. As of September 14, 2015 she is the number 3 ranked junior tennis player in the world.[1]
She currently resides in Pembroke Pines.[2]
She represented Team USA at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics.[3]
Kenin won the 2014 Junior World Fed Cup as a member of USA Fed Cup Team in 2014 Fed Cup in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
She won the Dunlop Orange Bowl junior tournament in 2014. Kenin won International Spring Championship Tournament, Carson, CA Grade 1 ITF.
Kenin won the 2014 Dunlop Orange Bowl, a prestigious Grade A G18 ITF Event in Plantation, Florida, USA. She won the International Spring Championship Tournament, Grade 1 G18 ITF Event in Carson, CA, USA. She won USTA G18 Hard Courts National Championship and earned a Wild Card into the 2015 US Open women's singles tournament. Kenin reached the final in the 2015 US Open Junior Championship.
