HECSU (Higher Education Careers Services Unit)

HECSU is a registered charity that supports the work of higher education careers services in the UK and Republic of Ireland and funds major research projects that benefit the higher education careers sector.

HECSU’s mission is "The advancement of education of students and graduates of any establishment of higher education… by supporting and assisting the work of the careers advisory services…"

The research strategy adopted by HECSU has five distinct themes;

• Practitioner research
• Labour market information
• Careers guidance
• International comparisons
• Career learning and development.

Graduate Prospects is the commercial arm of HECSU and provides careers information and services to students, graduates, university careers advisory services, employers and others.
