Biographical Sketch

I am an eighteenth-century British literature scholar and have been teaching at the university level since 2001. My interest in editing began because of the excellent work by Adrianne Wadewitz for Wikipedia .

I research and publish on eighteenth-century British Literature.

Conflict of Interest

I am a Professor of English at California State University, Long Beach. I research and publish on eighteenth-century British women authors, and my most recent book is an edited collection _Masters of the Marketplace: British Women Novelists of the 1750s_. I am currently completing a biography of Charlotte Lennox for Toronto University Press.
