Plot

Lucky is a junior plant scientist who suffers with amnesia. His mind gets diverted easily onto other tasks while concentrating on his current ongoing commitment. His father arranges his marrige with the daughter of Panduranga Rao, a senior plant scientist. Rao decides to break the alliance after learning about Lucky's mental condition and warns him not to show up again, much to the dissent of Lucky. On his way to donate his blood to his boss, Lucky falls in love with Nandana, a kuchipudi dance teacher, and gets diverted. He creates a positive impression by donating blood to one of her students unknowingly.

In their frequent meetings, Lucky keeps on forgetting many things (such as wearing shoes, giving away his bike keys to a beggar etc.) but covers it up before Nandana by posing as a philanthropist. He, however fails to know that Nandana is Rao's daughter whom he was supposed to marry before. Rao's friend's son Ajay, a police inspector, too falls in love with Nandana who is expecting Lucky to propose her. Lucky plans to propose to Nandana but ends up admitting her pregnant sister-in-law, who is experiencing labour pains, in a nearby hospital. After the delivery, Nandana proposes to Lucky and they unite.

Nandana informs Lucky that her father has accepted their proposal and wants to have a glimpse of his. Lucky and Rao meet as strangers where the latter insults the former. Lucky later realises that Nandana is Rao's daughter and flees away from there. They plan another meet where Lucky makes his friend pose as Nandana's lover with whose help, he joins Rao as an apprentice.

When Nandana's relatives attend her engagement with Lucky, Rao's nephew assumes Lucky's friend is the bridegroom and the rest assume Lucky as Nandana's suitor. He gets confused further when Lucky visits a sick Nandana to spend some quality time with her. Days later, Rao wants Lucky to escort Nandana and her relatives to Srisailam. Lucky misses the route and reaches a place near the outskirts of Bangalore. He takes them to a nearby temple and introduces it as a very special and historically significant temple.

Ajay, who is confused about the identity of Nandana's lover (as Lucky and his friend keep changing positions based on the third person) manages to get a video where Lucky is romancing Nandana. When all return home, Ajay reveals Lucky's mental condition to Nandana and they break up. On the day of her engagement with Ajay, Nandana is adviced by Rao to choose Lucky over Ajay due to the former's sincere love despite his inherent flaws. Ajay plans to marry her by force and Rao challenges that Lucky would stop it in time without forgetting it.

Rao meets Lucky and reveals that he was aware of his love story since its inception at the hospital and since then, he was testing how amnesia would affect his relationship with Nandana till date. Lucky visits the temple where the marriage was scheduled to happen but ends up drinking lemon soda. He reaches the original marriage venue in time with help from Ajay's henchmen and marries Nandana there after a duel with Ajay.

A week later, Rao visits Nandana and Lucky and during their conversations, Rao says that Ajay is missing since a week and his father is concerned. Lucky remembers that he tied Ajay with a rope at the venue. He reaches the spot and when Ajay asks the reason for not releasing him, Lucky says "Sorry boss, I forgot!".
