Race
Start
The race was set to start at 2:16 p.m. EST with Joey Logano leading the field to the green flag, the first caution came out on lap 7 when Jeffrey Earnhardt spun out in the back straightaway, the race restarted on lap 11, A couple of laps later, the second caution of the day came out on lap 86 for a competition caution, Kyle Larson won the free pass under caution, The race restarted with 73 laps to go.
Second half, third caution and Finish
The third caution came out with 29 laps to go for a second competition caution to check tire wear, the race restarted with 24 laps to go, Kevin Harvick scored his second victory at Atlanta.
