Anushka Ranjan started her career on the Ramps for some of the best names in Fashion-designing. She has also been instrumental in showcasing many a new line of clothing as well as a show-stopper participating in premier Fashion-events.She has walked for all the Fashion weeks around India & Abroad including for famous designers like Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Neeta Lulla, Pria Kataris Puri, Babita Malkani ,Amy Billimoria and many others.
PHILANTHROPHY
Anushka is also known for her dedication to endeavours in the service of the Girl-child and has been on the forefront in espousing various causes of women at large, including crimes perpetrated on them . In this, she is an integral part of her mother Anu Ranjan’s NGO, BETI that has been a torch-bearer for all issues related to Women.She has been responsible for the treatment of many victims of acid attacks,rape,education of the girl child.
ACTING
She made her debut in Hindi Cinema with the Romantic Comedy, 'Wedding Pullav' in October 2015 directed by Ace Cinematographer Binod Pradhan.
EARLY LIFE
She was born on 01-10-1990 in Mumbai to Shashi Ranjan and actor/director from FTII and the Publisher of GR8 Magazine and Anu Ranjan the Founder of The Indian Television Academy.Her Father is from Haryana and mother if of Punjabi descent.She has a youner sister Akansha Ranjan.She did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School Mumbai and her acting diploma from Whistling Woods & The ITA School of Performing Arts. She did a 3 month course from Anupam Kher School of acting followed by theatre with Nadira Babbar.
AWARDS
She received the Best Debut Actor (Female) award from TSR National Film Award in Hyderabad 2015
