Pocket Platoons is a mobile game published by En Masse Entertainment, the North American publishers of the TERA En Masse released Pocket Platoons on iOS and Android devices on August 27, 2015. This turn-based strategy, base-building game is set in World War 2 Normandy, and players recreate famous battles, playing either the Axis or the Allies.[1] Pocket Platoons was developed by Seoul-based Picneko Creative.[2]

Pocket Platoons has received mixed reviews since being released. Playtabletgames.com (a small, independent review site focusing on multiple game platforms including iOS and Android games), gave Pocket Platoons an 8.1 overall score, stating "The game has a lot of scope an online mode and has a good difficulty level for beginners."[3] Pixelkin, a website devoted to providing information for parents of gamers, however, called the game "tasteless and not fun." This reviewer did not like the "Japanese anime-style illustration" of the game and had issues with the "The ubiquitous presence of prices and pop-up windows" for the game's in-app purchases.[4]
