Cheung Hang Estate

Cheung Hang Estate (長亨邨) is a public housing estate built by Hong Kong Housing Authority on the hills near Liu To of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It provides 4689 rental flats and the year of intake was 1990. Another public housing estate Cheung Wang Estate is in adjacent.

Blocks

There are six blocks totally.

  • Hang Lai House (亨麗樓)
  • Hang Yip House (亨業樓)
  • Hang Chi House (亨緻樓)
  • Hang Chun House (亨俊樓)
  • Hang Chui House (亨翠樓)
  • Hang Yee House (亨怡樓)

Transport

Cheung Hang Bus Terminus is in the middle of the estate. Bus routes

terminate there.

Green Public Light Bus routes 405 (To Lai King), 407 (To St. Margaret Hospital) and 409 (To Tsuen Wan) are available at the same location.

Outside Cheung Hang Shopping Centre, there is a bus stop for routes

Social Service

Inside Cheung Hang Estate, Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Union Hong Kong set up a Neighbourhood Elderly Centre. During weekends and Sundays, the center is used as a Christian church to provide services like fellowship and worship.

Shopping

Cheung Hang has a small-scale two-floor shopping center. A Chinese restaurant, Fairwood Fast Food and a cha chaan teng are there. It's next to the bus terminus. Moreover, a Wellcome Supermarket is situated there as well. Under the shopping center, there is a market.

Both the shopping center and market are serving residents in Cheung Hang Estate, Cheung Wang Estate and Mount Haven.

Leisure

There is a footpath linking Tsing Yi Nature Trail and Liu To Road near Cheug Hang Shopping Centre. On the trail people can watch the beautiful view of Tsing Ma Bridge.

A community hall is situated in the middle of the estate.
