- First Article Ideas -

Topic:

  • Everett, Nebraska
  • Omaha Public Library Building
  • Buffalo Bill Ranch
  • Nine Mile Prairie
  • Toadstool Geologic Park

Justification:

  • Everett is a small town, of my name, near Fremont.
  • Both buildings in which the library has been housed have little information written about them and would be easy to fill in.
  • Buffalo Bill Ranch is a very historical place that I have visited, owned by BUFFALO BILL, and there are three sentences written about it.
  • Nine Mile Prairie is a 230 acre pristine tall grass prairie OWNED AND OPERATED BY UNL but there is nothing written about it.
  • Toadstool is one of Nebraska's most unique geologic areas yet one of the main sections on its article talks about other places to visit instead...

Potential Sources:

  • County archives in/near Fremont.
  • The Omaha Public Library / GOGS.

  • '' I'm sure there is plenty of information about Nine Mile Prairie somewhere in UNL, especially on Easy Campus, since UNL runs it.
