DMACK, the parent company of DMACK Holdings Ltd., is a Carlisle, England based tire manufacturer, whose headquarters are located in the South of France. Founded in 2008 by now-managing director Dick Cormack.

History

DMACK was founded in 2008 by Dick Cormack to deliver smaller tire sizes than the ones supplied by industry giants, such as Michelin and Goodyear, specifically for the rally market.

DMACK Holdings Ltd.

DMACK Holdings Ltd., a Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise, is a subsidiary corporation owned by Cormack. It was created for the purpose of assisting business in China on behalf of the parent company, DMACK. The director and sole shareholder is Robert Walker. DMACK Holdings Ltd. has become one of the leading suppliers of race car tires in their specific market, and the corporation owns tire production factories in China.[1]

Founder, DMACK Holdings, Ltd.

Managing Director and owner of DMACK Tyres, Cormack is a former mechanic and rally driver for Pirelli. He launched his company after conceiving of and designing a radical, innovative new tyre. Cormack is also an inventor, with 15 granted tyre-related patents, and 9 more provisional patents pending. Richard Cormack is the first founder of a UK-based tyre company to be granted patents since Dunlop in 1986.


Robert Walker Director, DMACK Holdings, Ltd. Director Robert Walker was born in the United States, raised in Beijing, China, and graduated from Dulwich College in Beijing. He is currently pursuing further academic honors at Harvard University. Walker was recruited to serve as the Director of DMACK Holdings, LTD Hong Kong, China, which is the Asia Pacific Headquarters of DMACK Tyres. He secured and facilitated the expansion from England to China, and is spearheading DMACK's Asian Markets expansion. Robert Walker splits his time between Cambridge, Massachusetts and China.


Edward E. Lehman Foreign Legal Counsel

Edward Lehman is the Foreign Legal Counselor for DMACK Holdings Ltd., DMACK Foreign Invested Enterprise, and DMACK WFOE Offices, all located in Qingdao, China. Lehman has the distinction of being the first foreign lawyer to work at any Chinese law firm. A graduate of the University of Macau, he also serves as Managing Director at Lehman, Lee & Xu Law Firm, and has for the last 22 years. In addition to this, Edward Lehman is a registered foreign expert at SAFEA in China, Guest Lecturer at Renmin University, among other legal institutions, and is considered one of the most venerable of foreign individuals who call China their home.


Mark Lomax Financial Director

Currently working as DMACK ‘s Financial Director, Lomax also works with a number of investor- backed companies in the UK, EU, US and CIS regions, where he provides strategic financial management in executive and non-executive roles. A graduate of the Cranfield School of Management, Manchester University, and Demontfort University, he holds several degrees, and is significantly experienced in developing and maintaining investor relations.  

Glenn Patterson Communications Director

Patterson is presently the Communications Director for DMACK, Carlisle. He is the former Operations Director at The inside Line Public Relations and Communications Firm Ltd. in Carlyle, United Kingdom, where he also served as Training Coordinator, and Stobart Motorsport Public Relations Manager.


Jonathan Fowler Technical Director

Serving presently as Technical Director for DMACK, Fowler is the former Operations Director at The Inside Line Public Relations and Communications Firm Ltd.


Paul Handal

Motorsport Sales Director, South America Paul Handal has joined DMACK as South American Motorsport Manager. He has been Brazil World Rally Team Manager, and has assisted in organizing the Bolivian round of the South American Rally Championship for many years.

Beginning with the 2011 season, DMACK began supplying tyres for the Scottish Rally Championship[2] and the Production World Rally Championship.[3] The company made its World Rally Championship debut at the 2011 Wales Rally GB on the car of Ott Tänak.[4]

Proposed Expansion

Presently, DMACK works with Lehman Lee & Xu, the British government, and local authorities in its plans to build a tire factory near Carlisle, England.[5] The facility is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2017. It is speculated that it could bring up to 500[5] jobs when production is up to full scale. Its goal is to manufacture 2 million tires a year, mostly for motorsport specialist markets.
