Should be easy enough to get facts for this band, just google for "Dinosaur Jr". I came up with a fan site that had lots of facts and dates at http://tinpan.fortunecity.com/newreed/336/bio.html - and Google shows plenty more sites as well. - Logotu 19:58 4 Jun 2003 (UTC)

I'm sorry--"equally on par"? Isn't that redundant? --Domukaz

That's correctly right. I fixed it. .msbmsb 16:22, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Okay: Let's establish the tense for the intro. "were", "gained", and other past-tense words appear, even though the first sense states "Dinosaur Jr is an American alternative rock band". Notice, for example, that the Nirvana page states that Nirvana "was" an American rock band. Which is it?

See the Official Dinosaur Jr site - there is no period. --HasNoClue 08:28, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
