Zeinab Elobeid Yousif (1952 - 14 March 2016) (Arabic: زينب العبيد يوسف), was the the first  Arab, Sudanese, and African female Licensed Aircraft Engineer by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), (Senior Engineer Licensed Aircraft / Ground engineer). She worked at Sudan Airways July 1973 until May 1992, when she relocated to the United Kingdom. In the 1960s and 70s Arab and Sudanese culture was very traditional and for a women to study and work in Engineering was difficult as it is a man's field. Zeinab challenged the status-quo by studding and working in a man's field.

Zeinab studied and worked in the field of Electronics, Avionic communication, navigation and radar, She also worked on Boeing 707 / Boeing 737 / 347 / Fokker 50 and Fokker F27 at Sudan Airways. She also Worked On Radio & Radar ipments On Cessna 402/ 404/ 208 & Beach 1900p At South-end Airport. in the 90s she got a Masters Degree (MSc) in Advance Manufacturing System.
