POV

On the 22nd March 1990, over 400 students and children were treated for displaying symptoms characterizing poisoning. The out-break was seen as a Serb plot to exterminate ethnic-Albanians, and fulfill nationalistic goals and desires. Serb officials called it "mass hysteria" and propaganda perpetrated by Albanian separatists. The out-break was followed by protests and assaults on Kosovar Serbs and Montenegrins by 4000 ethnic-Albanians.

There are no independent sources that can verify claims in the article, and medical studies showed there was no poisoning. It looks like we have another case of mass hysteria, right here on Wikipedia. Perunova straža (talk) 22:50, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There are medical studies cited throughout the article. Also, At the same time, a mysterious episode, apparently of poisoning provoked fury among the Albanian population. ... The authorities did not permit a proper investigation by Albanians but offered a diagnosis of mass hysteria. --— ZjarriRrethues — talk 17:57, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That particular publication mentions an "alleged" poisoning. WikiuserNI (talk) 12:51, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
