Alloderm is an ECM Biomaterial used in medicine.[1] Alloderm is marketed by and a registered trademark of the LifeCell Corporation based in Bridgewater, NJ[2]. Alloderm has been used to reconstruct breasts experimentally after Breast cancer surgery.[3] Alloderm has been used as a Gingival graft in Periodontics; when using Alloderm, there is no need for a Palatal donor site [4] Alloderm has been used in General surgery for abdominal Hernia repair.[5] Alloderm has been used in Otorhinolaryngology as implants to rebuild resected Turbinates in the treatment of Empty nose syndrome.[6][7]
