Chief business officer (CBO) is the position of the top Go to Market function within the enterprise. The CBO's responsibilities include leadership of strategy, business development and marketing. The title is used to define a high-ranking position alongside the CEO.

Develop and manage the enterprises relationship with strategic clients, joint ventures, partners and investors Design and implementation of processes to support business growth, based on the company structure, strategy and resources Planning and management of business unit establishment, growth, innovation and optimization Business plan development and maintenance [1]
