Exalted Cyclops was an officer title and rank used by the Ku Klux Klan, based in the United States, at its peak in the early to mid 20th century. The rank signified the leader of a local Klan chapter, or Klanton as they were known.

Current United States Senator Bob Byrd, Democrat of West Virginia, attained the rank of Exalted Cyclops on a unanimous vote for Crab Orchard, West Virginia chapter of the group in the 1940's. He was nominated to the leadership position by Joel L. Baskin, a Klan Grand Dragon for the mid-Atlantic region.
