Information icon Greetings. Some of your recent edits do not appear to be civil toward other editors. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to (re-?) familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. In particular, it's relevant that WP:CIVIL says, "Editors are expected to be reasonably cooperative, ... to work within the scope of policies, and to be responsive to good-faith questions."You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 07:44, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In response to the comment you left on my talk page: Asking me if I can read is uncivil. If I can't read then why could I have an account here or meaningfully participate? You also described my perspective as "nonsense" and lacking in common sense. If you disagree with my arguments then try to understand them and refute them, instead of disparaging them and me. If you don't understand them then you're free to ask for clarification. The goal is to bring us to consensus, not to drive us apart. --Dr. Fleischman (talk)
And the same feedback goes for this edit. In addition, saying, "hello?" isn't productive. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 17:54, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did not mean a literal insult, Dr. Fleischman (talk), but I think you are right: I insinuated an insult. As you say, I was only trying to make an argument on the merits, not an Ad hominem attack on the person, or insult. My apologies - I was simply trying to be colourful and give flavour and depth to my argument, but I think I will try to be more civil in my future edits.96.59.147.247 (talk) 01:45, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
