Best wishes
I understand why you've decided to leave and certainly can't argue with both the sentiments and the choice of what's priority. Very soon, I'll be needing to make a similar decision with regard to priority, and recent developments that neither of us are pleased with will make the parting a bit easier. In the event that you stop by at some point, though, I'd like to say that I wish you the best, and appreciate what I've learned from you. Ryu Kaze 22:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- I really think your departure is still premature. I always see you working very hard on Wikipedia, and I think that in the case you decide to return, please reconsider the amount of work you put into it everyday. I feel that you get really stressed by this, just like the previous time. There's lots of work to be done, but you're not the only one out there. Take it easy. Nevertheless, I wish you good luck in your future endeavors. - Zero1328 Talk? 08:49, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I really appreciate it. But if I hadn't withdrawn some time back I would not be the calm, cool collected, fun-loving individual I am right now in my real life (though there still are problems). Despite some pretty tense dealings I'm relaxed and happy. Now you wouldn't have me over the keyboard, juggling numerous tasks about, enduring the stress of my life whilst engaging in a hobby I have no right to dedicate this much time to? Certainly not, I hit the fabbly point earlier this year. ;)
- I felt that, although I'm an editor, I don't have the right temperament for the things outside of what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm sorry I can't pin it down closer than that. If it's any consolation, many opposers of my viewpoints said the same about me, and I have no reason to doubt that their assessments were made in good faith. I hope to spend time as an editor later in my lifetime - when I'm not filled to the brim and biting my fingernails about what's going to happen next. I do hope wikipedia will be ready for me then. But there are things that require attention - off-wiki. -Randall Brackett 14:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Just to let you know, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Moby Dick case was just closed. You may want to check the link for the details. -- Drini 22:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yikes. I think Moby got slapped on the wrist a little too hard. -Randall Brackett 14:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Your Sandbox
Since you're gone for now, I'm going to assume that I have free reign over your sandbox. You haven't done anything on the Live Metal things yet. - Zero1328 Talk? 00:58, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Absolutely. Glad to see someone took the initiative. -Randall Brackett 20:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
