My introduction to Wikipedia was originally through the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, run by Purchase College, SUNY. The Edit-a-thon was particularly focused on the fact that less than 10% of wikipedias contributors identify as female, which means that women are under represented and existing content is possibly skewed.
