This museum is critically important to Golden, Colorado's history. The collection reflects quilts from the historical development of Golden and settler of the Colorado Rocky Mountain region. We currently have many pieces in our collection from influential quilt artists as well. The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum participates in the Golden Cultural Alliance as well as with Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
