Harbour.Space University is a private university in Barcelona, Spain that teaches technology, design and entrepreneurship.

History and Location

Harbour.Space was founded on December 15, 2015 by Svetlana Velikanova and Ingo von Morgenstern.[1] It opened its doors in July 2016, with its first academic year beginning in September 2016.[2] The Harbour.Space campus is located in the OneOcean marina in Barcelona’s Port Vell.[3]

Academics

The university offers degrees in six areas of study: computer science, data science, cyber security, interaction design, digital marketing and high-tech entrepreneurship.[4] The school’s partners include technology companies Kaspersky Lab and Yandex.[5]

Harbour.Space's programs are taught in English to up to 200 undergraduate, graduate and professional students per year.[6] Instructors with current careers in the technology industry from Germany, Russia and the United States lead the courses.[7] Founding instructors include entrpreneur Kamran Elahian, chairman of venture capital firm Global Catalyst Partners.[4]
