The logo is an old one. The new logo has the Australian flag on the left, before the black and white flag. I 'believe' this was after criticism that it represented Collingwood before Australia. - jabso

Actually, I believe there were complaints that the Magpie's tail obscures the Union Jack and thus broke some law of heraldry conerning flag display. - Matt_TY

Nope - etiquette decrees that when the Australian flag is displayed along with another flag (such as the Collingwood flag in this instance) the Australian flag should always be show first (or the left). Waverley73 04:15, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Don't the tigers have as much claim as being the catholic club? It seems that a reference to the reputatino for beign a working-class club would be just as relevantFranger 14:04, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
