Ogidi is an Igbo town in Idemili Local Government area, Anambra State, Nigeria. It is best known for being the birthplace of Chinua Achebe.

Ògìdí is also the name of a Yorùbá village in Kogi State of Nigeria. It was where the famous Nigerian artist/musician, Twins Seven Seven, spent his early years (his mother was from the village). It is also the hometown of Nike Davis, another famous Nigerian artist. It is where Twins Seven Seven and Nike Davis met before they got married. They have since divorced.
