My name is Ed Skinner and I am an occasional contributor to Wikipedia. I am retired and occasional consultant since 1/1/2015, and previously a software engineer and teacher thereof as of the early 1970s. My work has been primarily in the embedded and real-time arenas. I write mostly in C.

In my spare time I reload and shoot precision target pistols in the Conventional, a.k.a. Precision, Pistol sport more commonly known as Bullseye.

I am also an occasional musician.

I hold an Amateur Extra Class ticket, K7EDS.
