Thomas Marvolo"Tom" Riddle is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series of novels by J. K. Rowling.

Tom communicates through a diary in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He shows Harry Potter his portrayal of his "capture" of the Heir of Slytherin. He was a noted Prefect and Head Boy. He is also an orphan.
