Susan Chana Lask (born Month Date, Year) is an attorney who has litigated in State, Federal and appellate courts and in the United States Supreme Court since 1990

Susan Chana Lask earned a B.A. in psychology and a M.A. in Literature and Humanities from Arcadia University in 1983. In 1986 she earned her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School.

In 1985, Susan Chana Lask started her legal career as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of California. In 2005, Lask was admitted to the United States Supreme Court.

Makinen v Sanofi-Aventis

In 2006, Lask filed a class-action suit in the Southern District of New York against Sanofi, makers of Ambien. In 2007 the court ordered Sanofi to strengthen its warnings about the dangers attendant to Ambien’s use.[1] [2] [3]

Connie Campbell v. Steven Baum, MERSCORP Inc., et al

In 2010 Lask filed suit in the US District Court, Eastern District of New York, entitled “Connie Campbell against Steven Baum, MERSCORP Inc., et al.” The suit held that Baum had charged homeowners inflated foreclosure fees and other fictional fees. It alleged violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. [4]


Florence v. Board of Chosen Freeholders of Burlington County

In 2011, Lask won a United States Supreme Court grant to hear her Prison Strip Search Civil Rights case. [5] [6]
