I am Pureblade (an odd name, I admit), and I am running for Chief Executive or Councillor. I was the fourth person to join CJ and have been active in it ever since, serving as a councillor since January 13th. I created the circle emblem we now use as our official symbol, and have helped to develop the current wording of our civility templates, {{civil1}} and {{civil2}}.

I have much time to devote to Community Justice and will use that time to the fullest. Some of the things I wish to accomplish during my term are:

  • Put forward a vote to change the organization's name to something that sounds less like a vigilante group.
  • Come to a council-wide consensus on appropriate, neutral wording for our templates.
  • Increase the proper usage of those templates to help defuse heated situations and encourage civility and mutual respect.
  • Have the members review and revise the civility policy.
  • Develop a community watchlist of pages that have frequent conflict, such as Jesus, Muslim, etc. and have members keep track of that watchlist, defusing hostilities before they become problematic.
  • Have the council vote on major changes to templates or our project pages in order to avoid conflict within this group.
In conclusion, I have plenty of time, intelligence, and energy to devote to Community Justice, and I am willing to work hard to get things done and to promote civility and respect within Wikipedia to establish a great environment to learn and edit in.
