John Boessenecker is an American historian and bestselling author.

He specializes in the history of Wild West California.[1][2]

Life and Career

He initially trained to be a lawyer and he still possesses a license to practice law in the state of California.[3]

He later found success as an author. His books have received positive reviews from the Wall Street Journal and the Dallas Tribune.[4][5]
