POBUNA BEKOVA

History

Pobuna Bekova is an alternative garage band formed on October 1, 1989 in Banja Luka as a response to an emerging nationalism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Founding members included:

  • Zoran Crncevic Krusko (drummer)
  • Dejan Skondric Skonara (lead guitar)
  • Tica Aleksandar Tile (bass guitar)
  • Zoran Bundalo Pufta (lead vocals)
  • Bojan Popovic Pop (songwriter, guitar)
  • Vukelic Predrag Djope (sound technician)
  • Zorana Marjanac Kiza (stage effects, back vocals)
  • Irena Crncevic Iki (stage effects, back vocals)

Band was formed in freshman year of high school, and had many gigs and shows since then. They self-released 7 albums, with huge viral success and followers in the area.

Early Success

After playing most house parties in Banja Luka, the bend's signature vibe and sound took off and they reached into local stardom.
