Have you read, what this article is about? It is NOT an article about contemporary Buddhist countries, but an article on the historic extent of Indian cultural elements. @Wikirictor: The map that you insist should be at the top of the article is a map about Hindu expansion in Asia, it's not a map of Indian cultural influence. I have added that map in the first section of the article. Like I said, the other image is better to be kept since it doesn't indicate any religious influence. I'm not trying to give undue weight to Buddhist countries but virtually all the countries influenced by India were impacted most strongly by Buddhism.
