Splatoon 2 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sequel to the 2015 Wii U title, Splatoon, and is a team-based third-person shooter which is playable by up to eight players in online four-versus-four matches. The game was first announced at the Nintendo Switch event in January 2017, and will be released in Q2 2017.[1]
