Thorpe Larches is a small village in County Durham in North East England, situated between Sedgefield and Stockton-on-Tees.

There are approximately 21 buildings (19 of which are houses). There are no larger buildings (e.g. a village hall). There are around 80 residents.

There are no streets; there are only several lanes branching off of the road A177.

There are no major bodies of water (e.g. lakes, rivers, large ponds). Consequently, there are no locations in which one can fish.

There are no major businesses - only a small costume store and a packaging warehouse.

The village is within catchment range of at least one primary school and one secondary school.
