I am a doctoral candidate in the Program in the History of Science at Princeton University, where I work on the history of the natural sciences in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. I am especially interested in issues of plant transportation to and from the tropics, in material culture in the sciences, and in women in science.

I am currently working on the "Women in Botany" event at the New York Botanical Garden.
