Suspected sockpuppets

This user has been making quite a few edits (mainly dates of births) without providing sources. I noticed that a "favourite" date of this user was also favoured by the user Swineposit, who was blocked by User:Yamaguchi先生, so I went to his Talk page and posted a comment. Within a few hours Shiesmine posted this: "Russian serial killer Maxim Petrov still has a birthdate which is on 14 November 1965 and has a birthplace in Saint Petersburg in Russia. But i added that between 25 and 27 January for two days. Until User:Virtual Dave, reverted it. I'll promise i will stop doing that for adding their birth and death dates unsourced and add a reliable source for it. Please don't ban and block my user. If you dare do. I would never ever edit again after all. Thank you. Shiesmine" Is the fact that this user was watching the Talk page of the person who was previously blocked evidence enough to establish a link between the users? Why else would Shiesmine be watching this page? I noticed that Shiesmine did not deny my suggestion that the two users are the same person. I'm pretty sure that I would have if someone falsely suggested that about me. My intention in raising this with Yamaguchi先生 was for them to look into the unsourced edits done by Shiesmine, but Yamaguchi先生 said I should raise the sockpuppet issue here.
