Internet in Vietnam officially appeared at the end of 1997 when Vietnam connected to the global Internet on November 19, 1997. [1][2]
History
Rob Hurle, professor at Australian National University is considered the first person to connect Vietamn to the internet, which enabled subsequent development He first presented his ideas about bringing the internet to Vietnam to Vietnamese students who were studying in Australia. In 1991, Rob Hurle took a modem to Vietnam to begin the connection. [1]
