Alonzo Hamby (born: 30 January 1940) was an American historian.

He is most famous for his biography of Harry S. Truman.[1]

Life

He was born on 30 January 1940.

He was born and raised in Missouri.

Career

He completed his PhD from the University of Missouri.[2]

He is currently a professor of history at Ohio University.[3]

He is also a distinguished member of the American Historical Association.[4]
